2020 brings another exciting year ahead of us, as we slowly go back to work, prepare for School and generally plan for the year. The important aspect in our busy schedules we have is to stay active. Keeping fit is a big part of positive mindset and making new friends and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.

The government understand these benefits and are very behind this, especially when is comes to kids. As a result they offer an Active Kids Voucher for $100 to any school aged child seeking to do sports related activities.

At Red Dragon Taekwondo we have been behind this initiative right from the start. We have redeemed numerous vouchers in the last year (close to 100) and continue to do so for our members.

Do you wish to benefit from the Government’s initiative and redeem $100 towards your child’s Taekwondo Fees? Well here is what you need to do:

Go to the MyserviceNSW government website at - https://my.service.nsw.gov.au

It’s the same website you use to renew your car registration.

Under “Services” Select “Active Kids as shown below.

Once you are on this page, Click on “Active Kids” and it will take you to the next page below. From there just click on “Apply for Active Kids Voucher 1”

Once you click on Apply - You will need to enter some documentation to prove both your identity and that of your kids. Best to use Drivers License for you and Medicare card for your kids. Failing this you are given other options.

You need to verify yourself for BOTH License and Medicare cards.

Once you are verified, you can then verify your kids and apply for the Voucher.

You need to check the eligibility of your child by providing:

Name
Date of birth
Medicare card number
Your child’s reference number on the card (number 3 or 4 etc)

Once they are verified, you can either add more kids for verification or apply for the voucher.

When applying for the voucher you will need to know:

Weight and Height of your child
The School they attend
Their existing activity in terms of hours per year
Address, Languages Spoken and any disabilities
Where you are planning on using the voucher (existing or new activity)

At the end once they are all entered, you can choose to save these details so you don’t have to enter them again in future.

HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART FOR USING THE VOUCHER FOR TAEKWONDO!!!

Once you complete this voucher and it’s approved, YOU NEED TO EMAIL ME at jtsoutis@gmail.com with the original email you receive with the voucher.

I don’t want a copy of the PDF file, or an image, I want the text so I can copy and paste the voucher details into the government website as I need to verify and apply for each voucher I receive. This is considerable work and time consuming so sending me the original email (just forward it) with your child’s date of birth helps me immensely.

This year I will be issuing you the $100 Coupon Code to use against our webstore immediately upon entering the voucher. This also means I am out of pocket for the voucher funds for around 2-3 weeks but given the work it generates, I find it faster to issue the code straight away.
