Why Red Dragon?
All of our trainers are Kukkiwon certified, hold working with Kids Checks as well as Australian Taekwondo Coaching Accreditations and 1st Aid Qualifications. Instructors must hold a 2nd Dan Black Belt to teach and assistants are required to have a 1st Dan. We don’t use overseas Instructors and all our blackbelts are constantly training and keeps their skills current and at the top of their game.
We have many Black Belts and Assistant Instructors at all classes meaning students get excellent support, we also control the numbers for each class, so we don’t have a high Student to Instructor ratio.
Red Dragon is about creating the right culture…
At Red Dragon we embrace all our students as part of our family, but at the same time push them out of their comfort zone. Be it Little Ninjas learning through games and discovery, or our Elite Sparring Team who is being pushed to perform, we have dedicated lesson plans, structured syllabus and entertaining training that keeps out students focussed to learn.
Red Dragon is about good quality Training, with minimum injuries…
At Red Dragon, we do extensive warm-ups and stretching and this is ingrained into our students. This minimises injuries and ensures the training experience is not held back through tight muscles and not being warm enough. This is why our Dragons classes are one hour 20 minutes, to ensure we have sufficient time for warm-up and cool down. It also allows tie for our fun warm-up activities that our students keep coming back for: Dodge Ball, Mitt Game, Shuttle Runs, Sumo Wrestling, Inch or Switch and many more…

"Taekwondo has been a passion of mine ever since I discovered that if I worked very hard on myself, I could impress at class. I would get chosen to demonstrate techniques or do Self Defences with, or to spar the top fighters over the higher belts. I was challenged straight away hence I feel I grew in confidence and found benefits from doing Taekwondo as a result. This has helped me in my life, meeting amazing people, getting rewarding employment and career, making amazing life long friends, all due to the confidence building nature of Taekwondo!"
